WHO WE ARE
As a mother-daughter power team, Stacey and Kiersten decided to open an event planning business to help all of those who have a lack of time, desire, or organization to plan a party. Named after Kiersten's daughter "Hayven" it was decided that it would be a good idea to bring the idea to life in the Great Lakes Bay Region.
KIERSTEN
Kiersten is a graduate of Northwood University where she earned her Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing and Management. She has worked in the Business Industry for the last 8 years planning events, marketing, and other related items.
When she was 8 months pregnant with Hayven she was laid off from her job because the company was sold. She decided this was the sign she needed to start something of her own. Although losing her job was tough, it was the biggest blessing she could have ever received. She was able to spend more time at home with her daughter (Hayven) and work on creating a new beginning for her family doing something she loved.
With a love for event planning, marketing, and helping others, Hayven Events was born.
STACEY
Stacey has been in the restaurant business for over 24 years. Presently she is a General Manager in Saginaw, MI. During her time as a restaurant manager she has planned many area events for marketing strategies, staffing, and for guests dining in her restaurant. She has background in catering, menu planning, budgets, and the creativity to make your event special.
After several customers and friends positive comments about the events she has planned, she's decided to team up with her daughter, Kiersten and go into business together doing what she loves to do, helping people & making them happy.
"It's exciting to be able to work side by side with my daughter and go into this new adventure together. With our willingness to succeed, we hope to bring an exciting new business to the Great Lakes Region."
MEET HAYVEN
Hayven Avery was born June 8, 2015. She is the reason this company began. Kiersten and Stacey brainstormed for ways to spend more time with Hayven and decided that opening their own business was the only way.
Her name means "place of safety" and that's exactly what we want you to feel when we are in charge of planning your events. Safe. No worries, stress, or panicking. Leave all the details to us and you will never have to sweat. We like to make things as simple for you as possible.
